Do I need to adjust the temperature for high-altitude baking?A general rule of thumb is to increase the baking temperature by 25 degrees at altitudes above 3,500 feet.
What can I substitute for eggs in your baking mixes?Egg Beaters can be substituted for eggs in all our mixes.
Can I use a bread machine to make your dessert bread mixes?You do not need to use a bread machine for our dessert bread mixes. Our dessert bread mixes bake in a conventional oven in less than an hour. We do not recommend using a bread machine for our dessert bread mixes.
What do I do when my jar of refrigerated pepper jelly has crystallized?All our pepper jellies and jams are made with pure cane sugar. If you find crystals in your refrigerated pepper jelly or jam, remove jar lid and slowly heat in a microwave or on the stove in a saucepan of water. This will dissolve the crystals.
